Within five minutes out of the box, I was listening to Nichols & May's brilliant 1950s LP through the speakers of my PC (product not compatible with MACs, which is yet another loss for AppleHeads), more clearly than ever. You just connect the included cables between the back of your LP player/tape receiver to a little gizmo in the product's box, and then connect the gizmo to your PC with an included USB connector. You can then burn all your wonderful LPs to audio discs and/or as MP3 files to use with your MP3 player. I have an LP of Dylan Thomas reciting his poems, recorded between 1949 and 1953, and I converted them to an audio CD, and tomorrow will convert them to MP3 files so I can listen as I walk around Boston. This is a brilliantly designed product. If I could figure it out without a single call to Tech Help, so can you. I have already recommended it to many friends who, like me, have serious LP and audio tape collections. There is a "noise reduction" feature that makes your old records and tapes sound clearer with this device than on your stereo equipment. A GREAT investment to transform your past listening joys into your present & future listening joys.
