• My husband took me to westwind in for our anniversary, and surprised me with an overnight stay in one of their chalets. It was by far one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The food was wonderful, the scenery was breath taking and the room was only something I could dream of having in my own home. I was very impressed by the staff, both on the floor and in the kitchen. They were very helpful and friendly...they were in on the overnight stay surprise with my husband the whole time, and I had no clue. We will definitely be returning for another stay. • Needed a break to spoil myself, and my husband. Was greeted with friendly staff who could tell me about the area, what was available. The Inn is well cared for, from the cozy rooms with romantic fireplaces, and some with jacuzzi tubs, to the abundent gardens and breathtaking scenic dining area. With the hustle and bustle of everyday i really didn`t want any loud, people, traffic, events etc. There are acres of beautiful trails to enjoy, biking, skiing, or walking off the meals. We`ve been back for every season at least once....always helpful staff, always something to do...even if its staying in relaxing by candle light with some wine. • The pool is perfect and overlooks beautiful gardens, there are trails leading to a huge marshland,water toys that you can take anytime between sunrise and sunset. There are lots of little areas set up for 2 people to cuddle up and relax, watch the sun set. The food was great and the young chef came out 2 of the 3 nights we were there to ask EVERYONE if the food was to their liking. We have stayed at cheaper places, we have stayed at much more expensive places. Dollar for dollar this place delievers, the staff were very nice, the rooms clean and the location was awesome, quiet side of lake. This is not a pretentious, snobby resort and does not claim to be 5 star (we enjoyed our 3 night stay here more than the 5 star place we stayed in Whitney 3 yrs ago). • I really enjoyed my stay at Westwind Inn. We were there overnight for New Years Eve. The Lodge itself is very nice. It is I believe a mixture of Lodge, Bed and Breakfast and staying in a friends cottage. Its informal, comfortable, very clean and pleasant. It is tasteful and pretty, the rooms have gas fireplaces and balconies and wireless internet. Our room had a king sized bed, sofa, tables and TV. The bathroom was large but basic. We took all of our meals at the hotel which were excellent. Breakfast was included and was a completely delicious and large meal which you picked off the menu.
