- This hotel is wonderful and the price is great. Not even a block a away there are two families to choose from to go horseback riding with...strongly recommended. The hotel is at the doorstep to the beach. My husband and I had 100% positive experience...when does that happen??! Minus: The restaurant upstairs leaves something to be desired, we couldn't read the menu because of the blurry font and the menu seemed uninteresting. Plus: They allow dogs in certain rooms. It is so great to be able to bring our dog to the beach. Extra Plus: The organic coffee served in the lobby is absolutely wonderfully tasty, and in fact the best in town. Believe me, we explored. - We went to Long Beach to ride horses for our 1 year wedding anniversary and stumbled upon The Adrift Hotel. Shockingly good service, amazingly modern and green rooms, beautifully decorated, the perfect stay. We rode the free cruisers up to the lighthouse in Cape Disappointment as well, such a good time. We were amazed at how much consideration was put into all the details and amenities. Loved the breakfast basket in the morning and all the delicious drinks and snacks in the lobby. Thanks Adrift! - I loved the room. Good size, memory foam mattress, and an awesome padded bench across the entire end of the room near the window. Great place to lounge and look out at the water. Decor is sparse, but clean and calm. Service at the front desk was nice and friendly.

We stayed there five nights, and I was completely satisfied with the value. We paid $110 per night for an "Ocean front queen" room that faced directly toward the beach (west). I challenge anyone to find a better value in Long Beach! The hotel was tastefully decorated, and unlike most hotels, there was nothing cheesy, tacky, or pastel about the decor. Words that come to mind are modern, minimalist, industrial, maritime. It all worked very well for me. The pictures on the wall were tasteful black and white photos of local scenes. The best points in my opinion: Excellent value for a location very close to the beach with a wonderful view. Comfortable, tastefully decorated room. Outstanding service at the front desk. Free bikes to borrow any time you want. Fresh coffee (the hotel's own organic blend) always available in the lobby. Not the cheap stuff that 90% of hotels serve.
