I was in Calgary for business and found the Alma just the right place to which I could come home and relax. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms, though small, were well-equipped, and overall the cleaning staff did a good job (once they remembered that there was an occupant in my room!). I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Calgary.

This hotel was in a great location. There are also many nearby hotel/motels in Calgary's "motel village", but none that look half as nice. Our room was a two bedroom suite, with a small kitchen and even smaller bathroom. Everything looked good and was very clean.

Nice and quiet and the front desk staff was so helpful. Perhaps that is what made our stay the best! Thanks for all your suggestions of what to do with children and where to go! This will be our first choice if we ever have to return!

I enjoyed my stay very much, the room was very well appointed and quiet. I loved the decor in both my room and the common areas of the hotel, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The complementary continental breakfast exceeded my expectations and cemented a great first impression.
