Grab one of Springwood Cottages' non-motorized boats — kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, and a pontoon pedal boat are available free-of-charge for a day during your stay — and head out onto Kennebec Lake, where you'll find 30 kilometres of shimmering shorelines, beautiful blue water, and amazing views of nearby wildlife and rock formations. Cruise around exploring the area, or try your hand at fishing, as the lake offers some of the best Pike, Bass, and Walleye fishing Ontario has to offer.
Afterwards, return to solid ground and take your catch over to the resort's central deck area, where you'll find three gas barbeques available for your grilling enjoyment. Amazing cottage, as soon as we stepped foot in our cottage, we were amazed, it looked exactly like the pictures. clean, and well kept no signs of aging or any mold or anything else unpleasant. would definitely recommend others to go. Just booked another stay at springwoods for this summer, can't wait to go.

Went to Springwood Cottages in mid-Dec for a nice weekend getaway from the city. Conveniently located just a few hours east of Toronto in probably one of the last truly natural areas in Ontario (near a major city). Cezar and Yola were incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and pleasant hosts. Plenty of amenities on the property with well furnished modern cottages. Particularly enjoyed with flat panel TV with Bell satellite service as well as the propane fireplace. Without a doubt, we will be making regular stays at Springwood.
